Welcome to RoundTrips.io

Follow these steps to get up and running with the platform.

Sign In

Use the credentials provided in your invitation email to sign in. If you received an invite link, click it to set your password first.

Connect Your Autodesk Account

Click the "Connect to Autodesk" button in the top bar to link your Autodesk Construction Cloud account via secure OAuth. This allows the platform to access your ACC projects and files.

Browse Your Projects

Navigate to "Browse Files" in the sidebar to see your ACC hubs, projects, and folders. Select files you want to process.

Create a Processing Task

Select files and create a task to download and process them through the Navisworks pipeline. The platform converts RVT, DWG, NWC, and IFC files into consolidated NWD models.

Upload Results

Once processing is complete, upload the results back to ACC, or download them directly to your local machine.

What is RoundTrips.io?
RoundTrips.io is a file processing and management platform that automates the workflow of downloading files from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), processing them through Navisworks to create consolidated NWD models, and uploading the results back to ACC.
How do I connect my Autodesk account?
Click the "Connect to Autodesk" button in the top bar of the application. You'll be redirected to Autodesk's secure login page. After signing in and granting permission, you'll be redirected back to the platform. We use OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, so we never see your Autodesk password.
What data do you store?
We store your email address, Autodesk account name, and OAuth tokens (encrypted). Files are temporarily cached on the server for processing and can be cleared at any time. We do not use analytics trackers or share data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I disconnect my Autodesk account?
Yes. Click on your ACC connection status indicator in the top bar and choose "Disconnect". This revokes all stored tokens and removes your Autodesk connection data from our platform.
Why can't I see my projects?
Make sure your Autodesk account has access to the ACC projects. The platform can only show projects that your Autodesk account is authorized to access. If you recently joined a project, it may take a few minutes for permissions to propagate.
Why did my task fail?
Common reasons for task failure include: the source file is corrupted or incompatible, Navisworks couldn't process the file format, the file was too large for available memory, or your Autodesk connection expired. Check the task logs for specific error messages and try reconnecting your Autodesk account.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, click "Forgot your password?" and enter your email address. If your email is configured correctly and your account exists, you'll receive a password reset link. If you don't receive it, contact your administrator.
Who can I contact for help?
Contact your company administrator for account-related issues (access, permissions, company settings). For platform issues, use the "Contact Support" tab on this page or email admin@roundtrips.io.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All communication uses HTTPS encryption. Autodesk OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using Fernet (AES-128-CBC). Database access is controlled by Row-Level Security policies that enforce multi-tenant isolation. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. See our Privacy Policy for complete security details.
Can I delete my account?
Contact your company administrator to request account deletion. Administrators can permanently delete user accounts from the Admin Panel, which removes all associated data including Autodesk tokens and company assignments.

Known Issues & Limitations

We're actively working to improve the platform. Here are current known issues:

Password reset emails may not arrive

If you don't receive a password reset email, contact your administrator. They can generate an invite link for you to reset your credentials.

Large file processing times

Processing very large Revit files (>500MB) can take significant time depending on server resources. Monitor task progress in the Tasks view.

Autodesk session expiry

Autodesk OAuth tokens may expire after extended inactivity. If you see "ACC not connected", click the connection indicator to re-authenticate.
